CROSSOVER.
green arrow.
“I'm sort of a specialist myself. I shoot green arrows. Therefore, instead of Captain Pectorals or the Incredible Moose, they call me... Green Arrow. And as such, I'm not exactly chopped liver. ”

name; Mitchell Lindsay Wright Jr. Please don't ever mention his middle name around him.
birthdate; August 4th, 1983 (25).
sexuality; Heterosexual.
occupation; 2L at the prestigious Columbia Law.

comic character; Oliver Queen / Green Arrow.
universe; DC.
powers; None! But he does have a natural proficiency with a bow and expert marksmanship. He'll destroy you in a game of billiards, so don't bother challenging him.
status; Mitch registered with Crossover years ago (5 to be exact), but he hasn't been particularly active in the community until now. He doesn't really know who anyone is and he certainly hasn't gone around shouting his identity from the rooftops.

appearance; Appearance wise, Mitch is the polar opposite of comic counterpart. He’s the embodiment of tall, dark, and handsome. He’s certainly tall, currently standing at 6’3”. He’s not particularly muscular, but he doesn’t look gangly or lanky. And with dark hair and deep set hazel eyes, Mitch certainly fits the ‘dark’ part of the bill too. His hair is in a constant state of disarray, but “stylishly so.” He usually keeps it longer than his father would prefer (“You look a dirty fucking hippie, son.” is often thrown around). As for handsome? Well, you’d have to be blind or of poor taste to say that there isn’t something attractive about Mitch Wright. When it comes to Oliver Queen’s trademark beard, Mitch ditched the beard for something “a little less gay looking” – a mustache/occasional goatee combo.
played by; Josh Hartnett.

personality;
  • At first glance, it would appear that Mitchell Wright obtained all of that bad in Oliver Queen without getting the good. Not only is that true, but it seems that Mitch picked up a few extra bad traits all on his own. To put it simply, Mitchell is an obnoxious, arrogant, and snide asshole.
  • Mitch is a very determined man who knows what he wants in life. He’s developed from someone who was content to ride to the top on his father’s coattails to someone who is determined to work hard for everything he wants and won’t take no for an answer. His father may have had to pull strings to get him into Columbia for his undergraduate studies, but Mitch got to law school all on his own. (And he’s very proud of this, thank you very much.)
  • Mitch can be very selfish and very self-absorbed. This is all perfectly understandable, considering that the boy was born with a very large silver spoon in his mouth and was spoiled from day one. He doesn’t seem to care about other people (unless something’s happening that directly affects him). He doesn’t want to hear about other people’s problems. If it doesn’t involve him, then he probably doesn’t want to hear about it.
  • Some may call him charming, but others would call him overconfident, arrogant, or a cocky little shit. Mitch thinks that he’s such a great guy that some of his enemies (and there are a lot of them) are convinced that he has to be deluding himself. How on Earth can someone so rude and selfish think he’s so great?
  • Well, that’s an easy one. Despite all Mitch’s bad traits (and yes, there are a lot of them), he’s a good guy. He’s been making large contributions to charitable organizations like the Red Cross for a few years now. And when I say large, I mean large. He can be compassionate. He has his own causes that he follows. Loudmouth lefty Ollie in his head had made certain of that. But no, he chooses not to wear his heart on his sleeve or sit around and protest. And he considers his donations his private little joke.
  • But wait! If Mitch has such a ~heart of gold~, then why doesn’t he just show it? Wouldn’t that make him a little more likable? Well, Papa Wright instilled a certain set of values in young Mitch very early on age at life: emotions are a weakness. Don’t expose them. So Mitch hides behind apathy and aggression, rolling his eyes and throwing out sarcastic comments.
  • That said, you can understand why Mitch has hard time keeping friends and relationships. He refuses to open up to anyone. He likes to argue for the sake of arguing. He says rude things and can’t bring himself to apologize. He has too much pride to admit that he’s wrong. He’s stubborn, something Oliver Queen definitely contributed to.
  • On top all of this, he also has all of Ollie’s favorite vices. Alcohol, women, sex, and faithlessness. Really, he’s just a bundle of fun. :|
history;
  • The union Mitchell Wright Sr. & Elizabeth Wright was a marriage that ran on fighting and lust alone. The pair had nothing in common, really. One worked for the DA, the other one defended corporate criminals. One had strong moral convictions, one was a huge sleazebag. So it ended after three years, two years after their one and only son was born.
  • In an odd turn of events, Mitch Sr. won custody of Mitch Jr. It’s amazing what a few discreet payments to the judge will do, right? In any case, Mitch was to spend every other weekend with Mommy dearest while the rest of his time was spent with Papa Wright.
  • ‘Growing Up Wright’ is an interesting way to describe Mitch’s childhood. Because if there is one way to describe Mitch Sr.’s parenting job, it would most certainly not be ‘right’. He instilled all of his sleazy morals in his son. He spoiled him. The two of them didn’t have a very good ~emotional connection~ and he informed his son that “emotions were for women and fags.” That put an end to all of little Mitch’s requests for hugs and bonding time.
  • Thanks to Mitch Sr.’s less than stellar parenting skills, Mitch Jr. grew up to be quite the insufferable little brat. He was selfish, manipulative, and arrogant. And you had to fight tooth and nail to get him to do anything – he danced through life with an apathetic view of everything under the sun. His father impressed upon him that a good education was very important, but would then go on and encourage him to pay others to do his schoolwork.
  • This trend continued in high school, but now with an added bonus: womanizing! Chasing girls was just about the only thing he put any effort in – a sad feat, considering most of his relationships didn’t last very long. What can he say; vapid social climbers don’t really pique his interest.
  • It was always expected that Mitch Jr. would follow Mitch Sr. to Columbia and … well, do the same thing with his life. Unfortunately, Mitch didn’t quite have the GPA or the extracurriculars (“I’m sorry, you want me to join what little club?”) to get in without having Daddy pull some strings. Yes, he’s aware that his dad had to get him in. It’s a very sore spot. And it was then that Mitch realized that he didn’t want to owe anybody anything.
  • Well, except money. He was always willing to accept his dad’s money.
  • Moving on! Something happened when Mitch got accepted to Columbia. He started doing his own work! He went to class, he did his homework, he passed his exams. And he didn’t cheat or pay anyone to do it for him! Sure, he was still a selfish womanizing jerk, but he was a jerk who was doing his own work. He was going to succeed without his father.
  • Ollie entered his head as soon as Judd Winick picked up the Green Arrow title back in 2004. He was a junior at the time and and he handled the situation in a very businesslike manner. He did some research, contacted Crossover, spoke with Martin, and that was that. He wasn’t the least bit interested in being a part of anyone’s little comic community. He would just ignore the loudmouthed liberal in his head.
  • …Of course, that’s easier said than done. Before 2005, Mitch considered himself apathetic on all things political. But he started making large contributions to foundations like the Red Cross, Aid Darfur, and more. And it wasn’t that these were all Ollie’s opinions—he had just never bothered to learn about what was going on in the world before Ollie was in his head. And he found that he actually cared! What a surprise.
  • He kept most of his more charitable acts to himself (he had an image to keep up, you understand), and attained a BS in Political Science without the help of Papa Wright. He was accepted into Columbia Law without his father's help, too.
  • He became more interested in the Crossover network after a while and started becoming an antagonizing jerk on the internet, too. He befriended several people in the community (Eddie Durham and Zoe Roussy, most notably), and spent a lot of time arguing with Anne Gardner, his reincarnated wife.
  • Though he publicly scrutinized vigilantism, he was dealing with his own desire to pick up the bow. He thought he could sate Ollie by increasing his donations. Not only did he not sate Ollie, but he ended up pissing off his father.
  • His relationship with Anne became even more turbulent after two events. First off, all of the Crossoverites were taken over by their comic character -- Mitchell included. Saying things got physical between the two would be an understatement. Shortly after that little awkward incident, Anne, as her alter ego Miss Moxie, went and got herself shot. Mitch spent a lot of time hovering, scowling, and bickering with her. He scowled and bickered with concern, okay.
  • And then the earthquakes and riots happened. After making sure his friends were okay/holing up with Anne, he gave in to temptation and took to the streets. It was amazing. His tenure as a vigilante was short lived, though; he had no mask, no costume, and it's hard to be inconspicuous on the streets of NYC when you're running around with a bow.
  • Not much has happened since then. He donated to Crossover, started focusing more on his studies, and made sure Anne/Zoe/etc were okay. He has tentative plans to resume his vigilante activities, but who knows what'll come of that.
trivia;
  • Coming soon.
